Grand Adventure Camp
Calling all thrill-seekers and nature lovers! Are you ready to trade the ordinary for the extraordinary this summer? Step into a world of wild wonder at Horizons Grand Adventure, where every day is a new chapter in your very own epic quest!
For ages 13-17, this adventure camp is a six-day journey in the Shenandoah Valley packed with heart-pounding escapades and wide-eyed discoveries. From scaling rock faces and paddling down rivers to trekking in the backcountry, this is no ordinary camp. Along the way, campers will learn to lead their own journeys and shape the path they travel.
Horsin' Around Equestrian Camp
Horsin’ Around Equestrian Camp is an overnight horse summer camp in the heart of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s a thrilling and unforgettable experience for anyone who loves horses. This camp for ages 9-16 includes English riding lessons, stable management, care and grooming of horses, methods of preparing for horse show, and even trail rides throughout camp!
Our summer horse riding camp for kids is for both beginners and advanced equestrians. All instruction is tailored to the skill level and specific needs of each camper. Beginners will learn steering, post-trotting, basic pole-work, and other fundamental skills. Those with more advanced knowledge will focus on seat and position in canter, jumping, and fine-tuning the skills they already possess.

Bonus Week Camps run from August 10th-16th. Drop-off and Pickup will be at Camp Horizons in Harrisonburg, VA.
