From learning the basics of drawing to the fundamentals of photography, campers love learning about the visual arts surrounded by the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian mountains.
Arts and Crafts
Camp and arts and crafts go hand in hand. These classic summer camp pastimes include tie-dying, crafting cute items, and painting.
*Ages 6-16*
Clay Work
Campers can prepare to get their hands dirty as they make and decorate their very own art pieces, such as plates, mugs, and even jewelry.
*Ages 9-16*
Digital Photography
At our photography camp, your student will learn how to use a digital camera and the basics of Photoshop.
*Ages 9-16*
Knitting and Weaving
(4th period only) From scarfs and mittens to decorative hangings, campers love learning how fun and versatile knitting and weaving can be.
*Ages 8-16*
Maker’s Space
Campers can choose between pre-organized projects or using the supplies available to create whatever artwork pops into their minds.
*Ages 9-16*
Painting
This class covers the fundamentals of color theory, art strokes, and how to bring a vision to life.
Sketching
Campers love learning different sketching techniques, so their artwork looks more like real people and items.
*Ages 9-16*
Stage Makeup
By learning how to apply stage makeup, campers discover that their face may be the best canvas of all.
*Ages 6-16*
